My small corner where I keep the books I’ve written – some free, some not, all written with love.
Think of it as a shelf you can visit
whenever you want to read deeper into my world,
my faith, my stories, my healing.

The Shape of Survival is a collection of poems by Nancy Atieno, a Kenyan poet who has lived the words she writes, carrying loss, heartbreak, hunger, and motherhood as lived experiences. These poems introduce a woman learning to choose herself, a mother confronting her inner battles in the hope of becoming better, and a girl who still believes that even broken hearts continue to beat.

Words have a way of touching the places our voices can’t reach. Here is a free gift from my heart – a collection of verses meant to comfort, uplift, and remind you that you’re not walking this journey alone.

If my words have touched your heart, carried you through a hard moment, or simply whispered a little hope into your day, I’d be deeply grateful for your support.
